Take an Adventure Through the Desert…

Join us on a tour through the heart of Joshua Tree…

Quail Springs Trail

Our first stop on our tour of the Joshua Tree National Park is Quail Springs where you will get to walk around some of the oldest metamorphic rocks in the park. These rocks are said to be upwards of 1.7 billion years old and you will be amazed by the surreal rock formations you see.

Banana Cracks Rock

Banana Cracks is a popular rock climbing area with large formations that are humbling to behold. We will do a short stop here and take a walk around. Good place for some photos and a quick meditation or walk. Enjoy a moment of silence and listen to nature as you gaze out into the surreal wonders of Joshua Tree National Park.

Hidden Valley

The Hidden Valley Nature Trail is our main hiking destination for the tour and, in our opinion, is the most scenic nature hike in Joshua Tree National Park. We will be hiking this easy to moderate 1 mile loop which takes about 45 minutes to complete at a relaxed pace. You’ll be enveloped by enormous granite rock formations and beautiful desert nature as you walk into this canyon trail. You’ll want to bring your camera and take lots of pictures. This is a fairly easy walk but if your group doesn’t feel up to it we can do more driving and sightseeing instead.

Keys View

Keys View is one of the four highest peaks in Joshua Tree National Park and you can see stunning views of the Coachella Valley and Transverse mountain ranges which lead into the Salton Sea and Palm Springs. On most days you can see the north shore of the Salton Sea and beyond.

Cap Rock Trail

Cap Rock Nature Trail is our last stop and is a quick and easy .3 mile loop which only takes 15 minutes but is well worth the short hike. We consider this to be our “cool-down” hike but there are opportunities for more last minute rock scrambling if you or your group feel so inclined.

Skull Rock

Skull Rock is an optional extra should your group want to head a bit further into the park. It is arguably one of the most popular formations in the park. It is an iconic metamorphic boulder which has been naturally shaped into a skull through millennia of erosion. Joshua Tree National Park has a lot of gorgeous boulders, some look like they are carved out and shaped by someone. Ask your tour guide about Skull Rock.
